Upon arrival, transfer in our comfy private vehicle from Katakolon port to the ancient site of Olympia.
Over there, walk amid the evocative ruins of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. There the ancient athletes lived, trained, made sacrifices to gods and competed. In the meantime, soak up the wisdom of the ancient Greeks at iconic ruins. First, explore the place where the Olympic Flame is ignited every four years for the modern Olympic Games. Then, delve into the history of this stadium, run and follow the footprints of the first athletes. What’s more, our expert local guide will help you take a picture of yours on the original marble starting line extant up to this day.
Next, this exciting Katakolon shore excursion continues in the museum. Here, explore the vast collection of significant ancient artifacts from the archaeological site. Later that day discover an olive oil farm. At this point, learn about the olive oil and its secrets. Don’t miss out on tasting some local products while you enjoy the beauty around you! Then, visit a local winery and sample several varieties of the wine produced there. After the winery, you can swim in turquoise blue waters. The sun-drenched beach is organized and you can relax and enjoy a beverage or Greek nibbles.

A participant may change or cancel an agreed service. No penalty will be incurred provided a change in date is made at least 5 days prior to departure and other dates are available. Except as outlined above our cancellation policy applies to our trips and tours.
Refunds will be made within thirty (30) days of the cancellation date.
